Property asking prices rise 2.3%.
According to Rightmove, over the last month there has been a 2.3% (+£6,785) rise in the average asking price of property coming to market. This is the highest recorded monthly rise for this time of year since Rightmove’s House Price Index started in 2002.

Liverpool house prices rise 3.8% compared to 2.8% nationwide.
Hometrack produces a House Price Index on a city by city basis and as of the end of December 2019 the average price of houses in Liverpool rose over the year by 3.8% compared to only 2.8% nationwide. Out of 20 cities, Liverpool had the 6th highest increase in house prices.
